I'm agree with the one who post about biofuel. I think that the elementary issue that can fix the accelerated global warming, is sel-sufficiency. Why? Because the massive goods production its the reason and the root of the problem.
Thats why, sustainable development talks about the local improve of programs as a massive structure of a enormous strategy to fix the actual situation.
Little things like, use organic waste to produce biogas and burning it to obtain electric energy (of course using generation plants), recycling, improve the water utilization and free-emissions technology development (not only high tech) can make the difference on this field.
