Anyways, I stand up for the right of a person to believe as they wish. Noone on tis site gets upset about Santeria in Cuba, Candomble in Brazil, etc? Haiti is very close, Haiti is very poor and Haiti and its belief systems have been stigmatized.

The French used Christianity as a justification for slavery, Vodoun was a justification for rebellion and freedom. So it is a part of history and culture, and should not be expunged as I feel like many people are advocating for here.
