Bryan, I am so glad hear a voice of reason amidst all the Bible thumping claptrap that constitutes most charity work in Haiti. I am researching this subject, and wonder if you (or anyone else reading this) can put me in touch with Haitians themselves who are working to better the lives of their fellow Haitians. People who aren't trying to save souls or convert the populace, but who are helping with no spiritual strings attached. I will check this website regularly for any replies.
