I just came upon your site today....I would like to mention a few things...the passage of not judging others is so misconstrued by many...actually we make jugements every day of our lives...we judge between good and evil, right and wrong, do I or don't I etc. In fact, a great deal of the blogs here are full of judgement...even the original author seems to be judging. The Bible has many things to say on this: "Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge they people, that I may discern between good and bad:for who is able to judge this they so great a people" Deut.3:9 (King Solomon's plea for wisdom)Jesus said "Judge not lest ye be judged, for with what measure you meet it shall be measured to you again". So if you hold someone up to a standard you have conceived of in yourself...you will be held to that same standard on judgement day before God. But, the Lord has set standards we should all be concerned about...like one...you cannot enter the kingdom of God apart form Jesus.
I think we should leave judgement of one's final eternal destination to God, but obviously in this life we need Godly judgement, not to judge others but to judge ourselves.Regarding Satan...he is judged already..."Every kingdom divided against itself is borught to desolation: and a house divided against a house faileth. If Satan be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand?...But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. When a stong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth no with me scattereth" Luke 11:17-23
I think instead of shooting the soldiers we should gather together in love for the common good of the Haitian people who need the one and only true God.
"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this. To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world" James 1:27
