Nigeria is the best place to do the Jathropha/biodiesel business in Africa. Why? Reason is that:
Nigeria is world's largest producer of cassava. Cassava yields ethanol.
2. Nigeria is fourth largest producer of palm oil.
3. Nigeria has vast arable lands that can be leased for Jathropha farming.
4. With a population of 140 million people, Biodiesel will be in hotter demand here than elsewhere in Africa.
