The Haiti Water Well Rehabilitation Project - a joint effort between the Children’s Nutrition Program of Haiti (CNP) and Living Water International (LWI) - moved forward in 2005 with the achievement of several milestones. First, twelve (12) wells have been repaired thus far in 2005 bringing the total number of wells put back into service since the project’s inception to fifteen (15). Second, CNP/LWI has recently contracted the services of local area residents to perform recent repairs. The passing of these two milestones restores potable water to 15 communities and provides intermittent, but regular, jobs for our local contractors. Read more »
