Haiti Innovation joins with Asosiyason Pwof Ansanm: Today, Haiti Innovation joined with Asosyason Pwof Ansanm to further their ongoing education program in the highly isolated city of Jeremie, located in the southwestern portion of the country known as the Grand Anse.

This project will focus on building the teaching capacity of local educators by providing instructions on best practices in participatory learning methods. Children will be taught in dynamic classrooms that utilize hands-on teaching methods, rather than the norm, gross memorization of course curricula.

Haiti Innovation is extremely excited by this project as education has been proven to reduce the rate of teen pregnancy, lessen the frequency of HIV/AIDS transmission, and to empower women, the backbone of Haitian families.
